COVID-19 Update 27/03/2019

As the impact of COVID-19 increases, we wanted to share some of the measures we at Burness Corlett Three Quays have taken to minimise operational disruption and reduce the risk to our staff, clients, sub-contractors and the wider community, in line with current guidance.

We would also like to reassure you that we are very much open for business and are operating a full service out of our Southampton, London, Newcastle, Isle of Man and Dubai offices.

As we remain committed to supporting our many clients, our robust H&S and business continuity plans already in place have been enhanced and implemented.

We are liaising with all customers on a daily basis to assess current projects and will continue our consultancy and survey services wherever possible, while taking all necessary and appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of our people. The majority of our office-based staff are already working remotely in line with social distancing directives but, thanks to our continuous investment in our IT capability, we have been able to seamlessly transition to this new arrangement.

To ensure minimum disruption to our customers, all employees have mobile phones and laptops with them to enable working remotely from home connected to the office servers. Our capacity to securely collect, process and deliver project data is unchanged and we remain connected to each other - and our clients - through Microsoft Office 365 and other communications platforms.

Face-to-face meetings are obviously being kept to a minimum but your normal contacts at BCTQ will remain contactable by email or phone should you wish to discuss your project or have any questions. Multi-platform software for remote team working and meetings, including instant messaging, are available to suit any specific requirement.

Naturally, we are closely monitoring developments, and as the advice from the UK Government and the World Health Organisation changes, our working practices will inevitably evolve to ensure we are fully compliant.

Clearly these are exceptional times but we are all doing our level best to maintain the service and professionalism you would expect from BCTQ.
